Acupuncture at Sage Wellness Center
Sage Wellness Center is conveniently located in downtown San Mateo. Acupuncture sessions at Sage Wellness Center are given by licensed practitioners. We use the highest quality supplies and every treatment is customized for each patient’s condition and concerns. The session includes a detailed initial intake, acupuncture session, herbal recommendations as well as diet and lifestyle suggestions. The environment at Sage Wellness Center is one to induce tranquility and relaxation. This enables you to enjoy your session and allow the energy to flow freely. We provide free parking in our parking lot for your convenience. We do offer complimentary consultations for those who are curious to learn more about treatment.

Wellness Supply Shop
At Sage Wellness Center we also have a Wellness Supply Shop. This allows our patients to pick up all their supplements while they are visiting us. We carry a variety of vitamins, amino acids, fish oils, etc. We do keep in stock Chinese Herbal formulations in pill form for those who have a hard time taking the tea. We also have a lovely variety of relaxation supplies such as soothing CDs, organic lotions, bath products and candles.
Appointments
In order to maximize the benefits of your treatment, we suggest you arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment to relax and settle in. If your treatment is delayed due to late arrival, it will end as scheduled so that the next patient isn't delayed. If you arrive later than 20 minutes your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
Payment
We accept cash, VISA, M/C, American Express, and local pre-printed checks.
Environment Considerations
As a courtesy to our guests, please keep your voices low, turn cell phones and pagers off or to vibrate. We also suggest you do not bring small children with you.
